Senior Data Analyst to £34k – St Neots, Cambridgeshire 
Senior Data Analyst with strong SQL Server reporting and administration skills is required by a company based near St Neots on the Cambridgeshire / Bedfordshire. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £34,000.

Main Responsibilities: 
- To ensure databases run efficiently and perform housekeeping activities including creating and maintaining backup and maintenance schedules, re-indexing the databases as required, and creating new indexes to improve performance. maintaining replication to reporting server 
- To apply bulk changes to the data held within databases as required 
- To create analytical reports and dashboards for monitoring performance against KPI’s 
- To coordinate with the IS / IT department to ensure data collection, storage, collation, accessibility and delivery continues to meet evolving business needs 
- To establish and encourage positive working relationships with all areas of the business

Candidate Specification: 
Background and Experience 
- Experience of managing data and reporting on CRM databases 
- Expert in data manipulation and presentation 
- Good PC skills including MS Word and Excel 
- Detailed knowledge of reporting and analytical tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports 
- Experience of accessing and manipulating data in SQL Server databases 
- Understanding of SQL Server replication technologies such as Mirroring, Transaction Log Shipping and Database Replication 
- Understanding of indexes and maintenance plans
