We have three specialist divisions which recruit for IT, Accountancy & Finance and Marketing professionals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marketing and Membership Officer - (Part Time) - Bristol - Ł30k Location: Bristol, South West Type: Permanent Reference: 4808 - EK Salary: to Ł30,000 + Benefits Marketing and Membership Officer (part time) – Bristol - £30,000 pro rata A marketing and membership officer is required to work part time (15-22.5 hours per week) on a 6-12 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s membership product and supporting the marketing strategy to increase the value and understanding of the company’s customers and supporters. In this role your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): - Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of membership and communications for the company’s’ membership scheme - Grow the existing membership program whilst looking for commercial opportunities to develop new areas of business - Manage and write newsletters, e-shots and ongoing communication with pass holders - Work with colleagues to deliver annual Pass sales and renewal targets ensuring knowledge is shared to support visitor growth and the quality of visitor experience - Continually track CRM and membership KPIs and feedback results to the Marketing Development Manager with insight on how to grow and develop profitability of these areas - Carry out PR, direct marketing, digital marketing and other activities to raise awareness of the membership scheme - Ensure maximum media exposure of the membership scheme - Collate and interpret visitor data to inform marketing and membership activity Skills and Experience required: - Highly organised, results orientated marketing manager with strong copy-writing skills - Experience of formulation marketing strategy, particularly in relation to CRM and creating and implementing marketing plans - An excellent knowledge of communications, marketing strategy and techniques including print, new media, face to face and digital marketing (particularly email marketing) - Proven track record of demonstrating positive commercial impact through CRM and/or membership activity - Good numerical and analytical skills to monitor the scheme’s performance as well as the success of marketing and promotional activities - High level of planning, prioritising and budgetary control - Good time management skills - Attention to detail You must be a self starter with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and motivate others. Experience of membership schemes would be an advantage. This role requires a full UK driving license. The candidate must be able to travel and stay overnight when the need arises. An understanding of the leisure or “outdoor” sector would be an advantage.
