A Java J2EE Developer with strong knowledge of
Enterprise
level Java web development with Oracle 10g is required by our client based near
Newcastle
, North East. A salary of up to £40,000 basic is available dependent upon experience.

The Java J2EE Developer will have experience of the full develop life cycle developing enterprise scale business applications for internal departments and regional offices. You must have strong experience developing J2EE Web Component technologies alongside international web application development teams. You must also have strong Oracle 10g skills as well as strong Integrated Development Environment experience (EDI).

You will provide technical troubleshooting assistance and maintenance on all J2EE applications as well as UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Any knowledge of the following is highly advantageous: J2SE, JSP, JSTL as well as XHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience working to ISO procedures would be desirable.

- A vast range of skills with J2SE / J2EE technologies
- Experience of Oracle (8i, 9i or preferably) 10g
- JSP / JSTL / JavaScript / XHTML / XML / CSS / Java Design patterns
