We have three specialist divisions which recruit for IT, Accountancy & Finance and Marketing professionals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IT Support Officer - VmWare / SharePoint - London - Ł27k Location: London, Central London Type: Permanent Division: IT Recruitment Reference: IT Jobs - 4553 Salary: to Ł27,000 + Benefits IT Support Officer with proven experience of Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, VMware ESX, Sharepoint, SQL Server 2005, Blackberry Server, VPN required by our Client based in Farringdon / Chancery Lane, London. Salary to £27,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st Line Support and assisting the IT Manager in carrying out all necessary technical maintenance, monitoring and administration of the IT infrastructure, in particular: - Network infrastructure (including communications equipment, cabling, local area networks and a VPN linking all sites) - Day-to-day server administration for all servers (Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2005, Office Communications Server 2007, Blackberry Enterprise Server, VMWare ESXi and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0) - Patching servers and PCs as appropriate using Windows Software Update Services - Responsible for running the Head Office backup and monitoring remote backups This is a busy and demanding role and no one day will be the same – we are looking for an experienced and confident person with a can-do attitude who is prepared to go the extra mile in delivering first class IT support to 120 users based in nine regional offices around the UK This role is ideally suited to a technically competent IT Support Officer / IT Support Analyst looking for an exciting new challenge, within this progressive charity organisation.
