IT Support Engineer with knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 Server, Hyper-V, Exchange, MS Office, Data Backups and disaster recovery required to provide support across Liverpool, Manchester and the North West . Salary to £24,000 + Benefits.

The successful candidate will be providing internal and external support to my Client's offices across Liverpool, Chester and Manchester . Your main duties will include:

- Administration and maintenance of the company Active Directory domain

- Provide telephone and desktop support to internal systems

- Monitor and control the company backups and disaster recovery procedures

- Liaise with the Sales Team providing both pre and post sales support to our customers

- Researching and identifying innovative uses for new and existing technology

Technically, candidates will have around three years experience working within a Microsoft environment and have skills in the following areas:

Sound knowledge of Windows Server 2003 -2008 platforms

Active Directory Group Policy management

Microsoft Hyper-V experience and virtualisation knowledge

Strong knowledge of Data Backups with an understanding of Disaster Recovery

SQL Database management experience
