IT Service Desk Analyst – Guildford / Surrey - £18k

An IT Service Desk Analyst is required by a solutions provider based in Guildford, Surrey . This is an entry level position that would suit a Junior IT Support Assistant or IT Graduate. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £18,000.

--- Duties ---

- To provide an incident logging facility for all customers

- To respond to basic customer queries within agreed time scales ensuring that full and concise details of the nature of the incident are recorded on the logging system using the correct processes.

- To carry out documented checks to determine if the fault is of a Software or Hardware nature.

- The resolution of common support issues where known fixes are documented on knowledge base.

- To escalate incidents immediately to the designated ‘Escalation Points’ when appropriate providing a full and concise record of the incident and the reasons for escalation.          

-To carry out 3rd party Call management.

- To process Service Requests and to keep customers updated about their incidents’ status at agreed intervals

Previous Helpdesk / IT Service Desk experience is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of Windows

Strong problem solving skills

Any experience with the Retail or Hospitality Industry is highly desirable
