We have three specialist divisions which recruit for IT, Accountancy & Finance and Marketing professionals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IT Service Desk Analyst - Banbury / Oxford / Brackley - Ł25k Location: Banbury, Bicester, Oxfordshire Type: Permanent Division: IT Recruitment Reference: IT Jobs - 4558 Salary: to Ł23,000 + Ł2500 shift allowance + Benefits IT Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Analyst with 1st & 2nd line knowledge of Windows 2003, SharePoint, Exchange 2003, Terminal Services, MS Office, and ideally MCDST or MCP certification required by our Client based near Banbury / Oxford / Brackley. Salary to £23,000 + £2500 On Call Allowance + Benefits. You will be responsible for supporting the full estate of hardware and software in use throughout the business and aiming to resolve any incidents or service requests quickly and effectively within agreed SLA’s. The key elements of this role are: - Ensuring that all 1st and 2nd line calls are managed and owned until final resolution or escalated to the relevant department. - Providing customers with regular updates where appropriate, and escalating critical issues to the Service Desk Manager where necessary. - Take responsibility for handling of Requests within assigned work queues - Perform Hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting - Perform Software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting Technically, you will come from a Service Desk / Helpdesk environment and have 1st & 2nd line support knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 environments, you will also have some exposure to sharepoint and terminal services. This is an ideal role for an IT Service Desk Analyst who will ideally have MCP or MCDST certification who is looking to improve their commercial knowledge in a service desk environment.
