Salary to £40,000. Applicants will ideally hold an IT related degree, and have the following qualities and experience: · Strategic planning · Project management ability across multi faceted disciplines – software development, support, systems architectures, process improvement · Budgetary control · Ability to communicate with technical & non technical colleagues · A broad understanding of computer systems, data, telecoms, applications and operating systems. The successful candidate will be joining this hugely successful company within the Marketing & Hospitality Industry. Supporting a user based of around 200 staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for: · Developing the Group I T strategy in support of the company’s mission and core objectives. · Direct and motivate the IT support & development teams across the Group. · Recommend & administer an operating budget, ensuring targets are met. · Select & manage 3rd parties in the delivery of projects & infrastructure support. · Defining and implementing procedures & standards to ensure compliancy and reliability · Responsibility for researching and evaluating new technologies · Work alongside peers and colleagues to deliver continuous improvement in system & processes. This is an ideal role for a candidate with around five years of senior management experience, or operating at Director level.
