We have three specialist divisions which recruit for IT, Accountancy & Finance and Marketing professionals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Application Support Consultant - Hemel Hempstead - Ł30k Location: Hemel Hempstead Type: Permanent Division: IT Recruitment Reference: IT Jobs - 4744 Salary: to Ł30,000 + Car + Benefits Application Support Consultant - Hemel Hempstead - £30k + Car An Application Support Consultant with experience managing client facing implementation, training and support is required by our manufacturing client based near Hemel Hempstead , Hertfordshire. A salary of up to £30,000 basic is available dependent upon experience. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The Application Support Consultant must be both technically strong and capable of presenting and consulting with clients in a presales capacity. You will manage a small team of technical staff, scheduling engineer visits and managing implementation projects through to the training and support stages. The Application Support Consultant must have strong knowledge of Windows Server Infrastructure and networking both at implementation stage and for ongoing technical support. Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 / 2008, Vista and XP is essential as well as strong database management with either Oracle or SQL Server. Knowledge of Citrix or Terminal Services is desirable, but not essential. You will be an integral part of the project lifecycle assisting development teams by taking responsibility for requirements capture, setting business objectives and assisting the implementation of bespoke hardware and software solutions. --- Essential Experience --- - Client facing application support and implementation skills - Windows Server Infrastructure and Networking skills - Technical team management and leadership (highly desirable) This is an excellent role for an experienced Application Support Consultant or Implementation Consultant looking to build their career with a market leading manufacturing company with locations across Europe.
